The Best New Platform for Solidity Development is Not New At All

OneLedger, a blockchain service solutions company, has been helping businesses integrate blockchain technology for several years but they have most recently decided to highlight one huge service they provide: a robust development environment.

Programmers who use solidity within the Ethereum network, are well aware of the time and capital it takes to deploy smart contracts on the network, with more and more users migrating to side chains to avoid the gas fees that come from using Ethereum’s mainnet in its current iteration.

However, OneLedger’s platform gives coders an alternative to Ethereum side chains such as Polygon (MATIC) which is quickly becoming saturated.

The best environment

Developers joining the network will be able to easily deploy smart contracts and make use of OneLedgers Dev Center which features tools to help developers deploy dapps within OneLedger’s network.

George Connolly, president of OneLedger said that the development environment offered coders a new way to build that saved time and money.

“What we’re seeing as the popularity in blockchain and building decentralized products is that more and more people are dismayed by the often huge fees they need to pay to transact on Ethereum,” he said.

“Not only that but the Ethereum network has become a victim of its own success, with transactions often taking a long time to process, meaning there is less time for developers to work on projects, and it takes longer to deliver services users are seeking.

“We’re putting out the welcome mat to any coders who are fluent in solidity and who are frustrated with the performance they have had to endure in getting their projects done and their products to market.

“OneLedger’s development environment is ready to go and features all the tools devs need to get started and get building.”

Contest

As well as opening its development environment to coders, OneLedger is currently running the Gem Hunt contest to help bring validators to the network.

Validators that join the network between now and May 17, 2021 will receive 20,000 OLT as a thank you for participating in the race to hold one of the 16 coveted nodes on OneLedger’s mainnet.  The new initiative will allow participants to test the effectiveness of OneLedger’s mainnet: Kratos.

OneLedger is open source and businesses and individuals can leverage the platform to create both public and private ledgers with their own uniquely-identified network consensus.
