Telecommuting, the future of working, present of job, telecommuting, work from wherever, and mobile working, is a modern-day employment arrangement where employees don’t commute to an external location of employment, like an office building, shop, or factory. Of course, communication tools are key when you are working remotely. You have to be comfortable both communicating by phone and by face-to-face, preferably with the help of headsets. You should also take full advantage of the available webcams that are now available so that you can see your coworker even while he or she is not in the same room. It is also essential to have your own phone line, preferably a landline that is switched off while working remotely. As long as you have access to the internet, you will have no problem getting your work done from any place in the world.
