Team AMD FX, a specialized group of AMD technologists and an elite overclocking team, clocked a Bulldozer-core eight-core FX processor to 8.429GHZ beating the previous world record of 8.308GHz.

The fastest CPU in the world record was performed just a block away and on the opening day of the Intel Developer Forum in San Fransisco.

The yet to be released FX processor code-named Zambezi are set to hit stores later this year. Like the rest of the FX line of processors these new processors will come unlocked, allowing computer enthusiasts to easily overclock to speed well above the manufactured specification but probably not close to the 8.429GHz AMD was able to achieve with highly specialized cooling methods.

The Inkling pen is a "digital sketch pen" that can take your creative masterpieces from paper to a digital copy automatically. As you draw and sketch all of the content you create gets captured into the pen and by connecting the pen to your computer you can have a digital copy at the ready.

After your artwork is imported into the computer you can then use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or any other software to manipulate your drawing.

One of the best features about the Wacom Inkling digital drawing pen is that no special paper is required. This is because there is a receiver which clips on your notebook or page which interprets what you write. The receiver must have an uninterrupted line of sight however.

New research shows that Amazon's new tablet computer could sell up to 5 million units this year alone, and it's not even for sale yet. The launch is expected to take place in October so this would only give Amazon the 4th quarter to hit such a high number of units to be sold.

At the $250 - $350 price point for the new tablet, Amazon could very well hit 5 million by end of year. The price tag is the primary factor in how fast Amazon could sell the tablets. I would be surprised if they hit 3 million units but 5 million? Seems a bit high and unrealistic.
