Apple iPhone 5 Prototype Lost In California Cava 22 Bar
- Author: James Anderson
Perhaps Apple has some sort of marketing trick up their sleeve since this same thing happened with their iPhone 4 prototype and now again with the iPhone 5. Once the iPhone 6 prototype is here, geeks around the world will begin converging on bars in California with hopes to randomly pick up the top secret prototype.
Joking a side, here is what we know. The iPhone 5 prototype was lost at the Cava 22 bar in San Francisco, California and shortly after it went missing Apple and police used the GPS signal to track the phone to a house in Bernal Heights Neighborhood. Apparently, the police spoke with a man who also said he was at the Cava 22 bar that night. The man also allowed the police to search his home but the police came up empty.
It was also reported that Apple offered this man a very large sum of money for the return of the iPhone, no questions asked but the man declined the offer.
How soon until the iPhone 5 prototype is purchased by the highest bidder? It's not known. Perhaps we will see it surface on a tech blog soon!
