Facebook is currently working on a new music streaming service which is supposedly launching on September 22nd, 2011 according to sources familiar with new plans.

Like how most Facebook gaming apps work, Facebook would not actually be hosting the music content but instead it would be hosted by third party developers and partners.

It has also come to our attention that Spotify along with Rdio and MOG made be some of the services offered at the launch later in September.

It's not known how these services will integrate directly with Facebook but it could be something similar to Google Music.
